STEP #02F: Stylized/Toon Characters

OPTIONS FOR A TOON CHARACTER

MetaHuman wasn’t designed for toon characters, first and foremost.

You can, however, create MetaHuman toon characters. But you can’t generate them inside of MetaHuman Creator”. Instead, you have to use Character Creator.

HEAD BODY FINAL RENDER IN UNREAL IS FROM PROS/CONS
Purchased iClone/CC ‘Toon’ character, with full CC4 FACIAL PROFILE”. Then converted to MetaHuman using XXXXXXX. Purchased iClone/CC ‘Toon’ character, with “CC3+” body. Then converted to MetaHuman using XXXXXXX. MetaHuman MetaHuman has great shaders and materials but it was not designed for toon characters. Results can vary.
Purchased iClone/CC ‘Toon’ character, with “CC4 Extended Facial Profile Purchased iClone/CC ‘Toon’ character, with “CC3+” body. CC4” (ie. “CC3+” body and “CC4 Extended Facial Profile”) CC4’s shaders aren’t as photorealistic as MetaHumans, but this doesn’t matter with toon characters. Results can vary.
Custom character head, modelled with Zbrush, and turned into a “CC4 Extended Facial Profile” using HeadShot 2.0 CC4” base character (photorealistic) which is basically CC3+ body with tiny changes. Customized with morph sliders in Character Creator 4. CC4” (ie. “CC3+” body and “CC4 Extended Facial Profile”) CC4’s shaders aren’t as photorealistic as MetaHumans, but this doesn’t matter with toon characters. Results can vary.
