Can you add clothes in Character Creator to a standard character?
No.
In Character Creator, there are three options when you import an FBX for a character: CC AVATAR (Standard), HUMANOID (Non-Standard) and CREATURE (Non-Human).
Only the first option – CC AVATAR (standard) – supports clothing, and you can’t import a custom character as CC AVATAR. It just doesn’t work – it will present you with an error.
